Tammi and I made a quick trip down south to the North Umpqua River this last weekend for a little backpacking. My usual attempts at hurrying the wife along on a Friday after work, for the current weekend adventure, for the most part never work. I have a thing about leaving for trips sooner than humanly possible.

Mt. Hood - Leuthold Couloir
Had an absolutely beautiful day climbing up on Mt. Hood today, cold and sunny.
Tammi’s Brother Scott was in town for a couple days on his way back up to Alaska, and wanted to get out for a quick adventure. I had already made plans and agreed to help Greg with a BCEP climb up Hood on Monday.
But what the heck two back to back days on the mountain can’t be that bad, right?
